Cambodian Service projects

The Project Started in 2007 and she have been involved since its inception.

Each year we pay for and then build 8 houses for poor rural families

We help a small rural school by providing stationery and funds for the school

We raise funds for 2 organisations that help orphaned or underprivileged
children in Phnom Penh

We have had 3 girls come to spend a year at Rangitoto College - this is a
project that is run between the Rotary Club of East Coast Bays and Rangitoto
College. We also have assisted the 3 girls with university fees on their return
to Cambodia.

Each year we attempt to raise as much money as possible to fund the projects
we are involved with in Cambodia, usually about $20,000 to $25,000

The students are expected to fund their own trips and then fundraise for the
projects

Rangitoto College student, Georgia Sheehan, who is fundraising to be able to
participate in the programme this year, will tell us about her aspirations for
the programme.
