Dr Sarah Dunning BSc (Auckland)BS,PhD (Georgia) is the Director of Breathe Repeat and she runs regular workshops on topics such as stress reliance,habit formation and mindset.She is known for her relatable approach to science-based concepts. Sarah is a Rotary Summer Science Alumni and a former Georgia Rotary Student Programme graduate. |

What is the nature of heart disease in New Zealand

Trent grew up in Auckland and after graduating in science and engineering, spent 30 years as an international businessman starting up and building businesses in six different countries: he is currently a business and management consultant. He has four grown children living in New Zealand and Canada, one of whom is a doctor and a specialist in Cardiac Anaesthesiology and has two grandchildren in Canada. In 1970 Trent was a founding member of Youthline Otago and its first Executive Director. As a social impact warrior, he has a passion for helping the vulnerable in our community, particularly in the area of healthcare and disability. In July 2019 he founded Heartbeats, a community-based peer to peer heart event survivors support group, which has grown to over 130 ‘members’ and three ‘chapters’ across the North Shore and West Auckland, in just 12 months. The interest in Heartbeats and its purpose is so strong that there are plans to start Heartbeats groups in Warkworth and Central Auckland by May next year. |

Road Safety Education Limited

Maria is the NZ Manager for Road Safety Education (RSE). She started with RSE in 2016 and before this working in other not for profit organisations for about 10. Before this she worked in Radio and TV for over 15 years in advertising and promotion.
She went to Waikato University and has a BA majoring in History and Marketing and has a Certificate in direct marketing. Her role at RSE is diverse managing a small staff and is responsible for all aspects of the business in NZ. In 1988 she was a Rotary International exchange student and went to Denmark, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Waihi.

Since coming into the role in 2016 she has led major repositioning of the workforce and service focus to meet the changing needs of an increasingly diverse and growing city. Mirla is an experienced people leader who believes in the importance of building leadership and customer capability across all aspects of the Library service and the teams who serve Aucklanders. |

Esther is an educator, with many years experience teaching English and Art History in multicultural high schools in Auckland. For her Masters degree, she researched the effects of a Mindfulness programme on children's wellbeing. Since the arrival of her children, she has worked as facilitator for the SPACE parenting programme. |
