Maria is the NZ Manager for Road Safety Education (RSE). She started with RSE in 2016 and before this working in other not for profit organisations for about 10. Before this she worked in Radio and TV for over 15 years in advertising and promotion.
She went to Waikato University and has a BA majoring in History and Marketing and has a Certificate in direct marketing. Her role at RSE is diverse managing a small staff and is responsible for all aspects of the business in NZ. In 1988 she was a Rotary International exchange student and went to Denmark, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Waihi.

Mirla Edmundson is General Manager Libraries and Information at Auckland Council. Since coming into the role in 2016 she has led major repositioning of the workforce and service focus to meet the changing needs of an increasingly diverse and growing city. Mirla is an experienced people leader who believes in the importance of building leadership and customer capability across all aspects of the Library service and the teams who serve Aucklanders. |
