The tip trucks presentation at Long Bay Beach was a huge success and loads of fun. Thank you to everyone who played a part in the entire process from making the tip trucks to handing them over to the play centres on Sunday 8 March 2015. A special shout out to David who led the project. David was thanked by Claire Ellison – the vice president of the play centre Association, and the convenor Hayley arrived with her wee boy Oscar.
A big thank you to Hutch, Ray, Alan Astrop, Grant, and their big supportive team for their many hours of work making these tip trucks. These people worked tirelessly on this project, provided premises to make and store the tip trucks and transport them. A big thank you to Grant for the Honda logos that went onto the trucks.
Thank you to you all for making the Beach Day such a success. We raised $702.50 (seven hundred and two dollars and fifty cents). There were so many exciting games for the childrens. Thank you to Grant for the mega lollies and BBQ’s, Jo McRae for the sausages, Jerry for 300 children’s books, John Graham for the beautiful gift basket of books and goodies for the raffle, my daughter – Penny at Tristram European for the 50 VW footballs and boxes of lollies, Wallace for the many children presents, and also for relaxing drinks and food down in Browns Bay after.
The many helpers who turned up was overwhelming, and thank you all for making time.
